"i found a scripture that gave me some motivation to keep working"

hello everyone,

first off i wasn't to wish all the fathers i know, including my own a very happy fathers day. thanks for everything you do for me dad, i love you so much. next congrats to uncle brit on getting engaged!! sounds like kohls ranch was a blast this year!

this week has been a hard one. today we start the last week of this change, and it has been a long two changes here in santa cruz. the zone is struggling a little bit with maintaining the investigators we have, and elder salas and i cant get in contact with aldo now. its hard knowing what these people are losing and they don't even realize it right now. i found a scripture that gave me some motivation to keep working and keep being happy during our morning studies this week in D and C 24:8. we know that we will have many trials in our lives, but what matters is how we overcome those trials that will come. we are here to be tested and we cant get around the trials that god sends us so i realized that i need to be more patient, and endure well to the end. god sends us trials because he loves us, how could we ever grow or see out progress without being tested?

this week all of the pictures i had from the past 3 months got deleted, including the video entries i made for the last two weeks, so i had to start over again. that was kind of lame, but oh well, everything happens for a reason.

nothing much happened this week, we are just trying to find new investigators here in santa cruz. thanks for all the love and support everyone, love you all, talk to you next week!

love,

elder pacheco
