"i got to eat papa johs pizza"

hello hello,

this week has been full of meetings and conferences again, and we've been busy but were doing good. the only problem we have is with our lack of investigators, but we are continually looking for those to teach. we've been working a lot with the members of the ward lately and just had a branch activity for the first time here in one year! about 25 members came and we had a great time talking and doing a "hold to the iron rod" activity where all the members had to hold onto a rope and walk through the church blindfolded to try to get to the tree of life at the other end of the church. we shared some cool videos and it turned out really well. we were only expecting 15 people but 25 showed up in the end! huge success here in santa cruz.

this week all the zone leaders in the mission went to a mission council meeting to talk about the needs of the mission and it was really cool. we are going to start to focus way more on preach my gospel now and i cant wait to see the changes and blessings that will come. you guys should read it regardless if you are full time missionaries or not.

well that's about all that happened this week. were going to keep on workin and looking for people to teach, keep us in your prayers!! love you guys, have a great week. good luck on the trek, let me know how it goes next week. im sure it will be a great experience for the kids. those kids are lucky to have such a great ma and pa!!

i got to eat papa johns pizza for the first time in 10 months, a real mexican burrito, and got to ride in the vienesa loca!! (the crazy hot dog!!!)

thanks for writing me niño! sounds like you had a great time with the churchs at the river!! im stoked for you to play tackle football, you're going to be great at it. keep your head down and keep trucking those other kids. good choice on taking piano lessons, it will come in handy on your mission, no body in our zone, and one person can play a little bit in our branch, so i wish i would have followed through with my piano lessons. don't quit niño. it will be worth it. the girls will love you too ha. we haven't found any investigators yet and nothing crazy or scary has happened this week. its been a slow easy week this week. today we went to la casa mexicana a nd i got a super good mega burrito that was way good and not disgusting. love you niño, thanks for the email!! talk to you next week, keep up the good work buddy!!
