"where are the other thirty and one?"

everyone,
this week we were able to watch conference in the talca stake center in english and it was super great just like always. my favorite talk was by elder d. todd christofferson about fathers and president monsons first talk. the whole conference was great and i was able to have lots of questions answered and i felt the spirit super strong multiple times.
this week we went to a meeting in rancagua, had general conference and have been working to find new people to teach since cata was baptized. we had a cool zone activity today, we cooked a big pancake and egg breakfast for 32 people and played soccer and basketball all morning long in the stake center.

it was stressful cooking and cleaning after, but i like our zone. its a blast being with elder marshall and doing fun activities with our roommates. after the zone activity only one missionary stopped on the way out to say thank you for cooking and cleaning and that missionary was a sister missionary. i was tempted to say," were there not thirty and two missionaries here, where are the other thirty and one?". i obviously didnt say that but i realized that the one sister changed my heart a little bit as to what i think about sister missionaries!

thats about all our week, we will have more success in the sector this week for sure. birthday shout out to my little brother and tauna and erwin and congrats to grandma and grandpa hatch for getting their mission call!! love you all hope this week is a great week!

questions:

no her mom is an alcoholic and drug adict and ive never met the dad before, they are divorced..

3.  Where did you watch conference?  What was your favorite talk and why?
the stake center in talca centro, elder christoffersons talk about fathers because im preparing to become a father and i know that i need to be the best i can one day. the spirit hit me really hard while listening to his words. im not exactly sure what his words were but the spirit told me many things that i can do and need to do to prepare for the next phase in my life and i want to follow those promptings

4.  What was your favorite experience of the week? when the hermana said thanks and the general conference talk of elder christofferson

5.  Tell us more about Elder Marshall and his family.  Did he graduate the same year as you?  Does he know the bigalows, or Hayden Nielson from Highland?
i love elder marshall so much its not even funny. we are the same in so many ways and we keep finding out more and more stuff that we both did or do or like. for example elder marshall was also a guy who ran with the torches in the gilbert temple celebration. his stake did the hoe down dance with red shirts. elder marshall knows grant bigelow really well and also hayden nielson he went to highland high and now live about 5 minutes from the gilbert temple. he is the youngest of four and his two older brothers served missions already, one in brisbane and one in iowa. we graduated the same year and have realized that we were at many of the same high school football games too!! he knows rachel rifey, and maddy lund too! super small world.. we are going to be great friends after the mission and we have planned tons of stuff to do together already. my favorite comp ever by far.

6.  Do you speak English or spanish when you're at the apartment?
all ingles, we are 4 gringos ha

7.  Are you taking tons of pictures of EVERYTHING! Even things that you think aren't a big deal and that you won't remember?
not really i need to do a better job of that

8.  Is there anything you want to start collecting for the members or elders when we come?  I know we brought some clothes and a bunch of candy with us when we went to get Trevin in Argentina.
im not sure actually i never thought of that. let me think and ill write back next week
love,
elder pacheco
