"for lunch this week we ate cow heart"

hola todos!!

i miss camping with the fam, its always a good time.  did you take the puppy? that's way funny about your baño story. haha!

this week has been a challenging one with lots and lots of inviting people to be baptized. president warne called all the zone leaders on tuesday and told us that we need to step up the game with baptisms and inviting everyone we meet to get baptized on a specific date.

elder perez and i have been trying hard and have been talking about and inviting literally everyone we talk to to get baptized, but we have had a lot of rejections. we did have one person named luis accept our invitation for the 9th of mayo, but he didn't come to church yesterday and he hasn't answered his phone since friday.... the other woman we found is named veronica and she lives out in the campo in the middle of nowhere, but she is really cool. we found her knocking on doors, and she ended up telling us that she is going through some really hard times with her family right now and that she needs help. we obviously shared with her that christ can help her if she asks and shows her faith by getting baptized. she didn't accept for a set date, but she said she would pray about it, read the book of mormon we gave her, and try to come to church. she couldn't make it to church yesterday, but we are going to go visit her and re invite her to baptism this week.

its been tough getting rejected so many times in a row, especially when the people are old and rude and grumpy, but the few times that we find someone that listens to us and accepts our invitation, it makes all the hard work worth it. for lunch this week we ate cow heart at an investigators house out in the campo, and it was actually really good. go try it if you have a chance ha.

i am reading in moroni chapter 6 and 7 right now and i have thought a lot about faith hope and charity and how these three traits are so important according to the words of the prophet moroni. go and read chapter 7 when you have some time and it will build your testimony about faith and having a hope to keep enduring and pressing forward, hoping in and having a steadfast faith in christ.

hope you guys have a great week this week. glad to hear that everything is ok with grandpa hatch's knee! thanks for all the love and emails guys, love you all!

love
