"just a happy little chubby guatemalan"

my dear family!

so as you all know there were a lot of changes this week, but they are all for the better! i have a new comp named elder axel ralda and he is super great. he has been assistant to the president, zone leader, and is my district leader right now. he has 5 weeks left until he goes home, crazy! we get along really well and we work together really well too. he is kind of nerdy and super funny and just a happy little chubby guatemalan ha. hes a great trainer and a great missionary, i think we are going to have some good success here in san vicente.

san vicente is pretty much the opposite of san fernando and the ghetto blocks of san juan and san hernan. its a little farm town with about 30,000 people and they are all super happy and nice and kind, and its awesome. the first day we got here, a member family fed us hamburgers, these local farmers gave us 3 huge bags of vegetables and bananas and some other member family gave us a bag of home made bread. super awesome, the members are so strong here, all 60 of them ha. we went to the president of the ramas bday party on our second day, and it was great to meet all the members. they were all so nice and cool and funny, and i felt right at home with them. there is a family named familia baldivia (i think) and they are so awesome. they have quickly become my favorite family in the branch. we have a family home evening planned with them and our investigators on tuesday, it should be great.

we had a super awesome week with work. we found 10 super strong investigators that are basically ready for baptism. people here are very receptive and prepared for the gospel, its really amazing actually. we met these two little abuelitos while contacting this week, miguel and gina guahardo, and they became my new chilean grandparents. we asked them if we could be their new friends on the first day we met them, and they said we could be their grand kids, so we have grandparents here now ha! they are 91 and 90 years old, but are insanely healthy. its pretty crazy. they are both always out doing their yard work, so we went and helped them the other day. we mowed their grass and trimmed some bushes and then had a super great leccion and i think we are going to invite them to baptism this week.

i miss san fernando alot, there are a lot more crazy things about san fernando. There were always surprises and something crazy happened pretty much every day, but its super calm and laid back here. i miss elder garcia a lot too, but elder ralda is great too. i get to go back to san fernando for splits with the zone leader on wednesday so its going to be awesome getting to see all my old investigators and members!!

it was a good week here in san vicente. it was a good week of getting to know the members, the town, and finding new investigators.

i love you guys so much, thanks for all you do!!! hope you have an awesome week! love you niƱo!!!! talk to you guys next week! oh hey can you send me grandma p's email please??

love
