hey guys!
sorry i didnt answer any of the questions from last week, i didnt get your email in time but ill answer em this week.
so
this week was super great. as of yesterday, elder ralda and i have 5
investigators with a baptismal date for the 29th of noviembre and 3 of
the five are super super strong and im almost positive well have them
baptized. its going to be so great if we can get all five for the 29th,
so we are going to work extra hard on the other 2 this week! we decided
in the begining of last week to focus on the libro de mormon for mostly
all of our lessons and to invite all of our investigators to baptism. we
ended up inviting 5 this week and have plans to invite 4 more to
baptism this week.
we had a great week full of super spiritual lessons, and i learned how much i love talking, testifying, and promising about the book of mornmon. this week has been all focused on the b.o.m. and my testimony of it has grown so much, just from sharing and talking about it. i love it when i get to invite people to specifically read the book of mormon and pray about it after. it is amazing to feel the spirit and the gift of tongues work through me during our lessons. there has been a few times when i have broken down and shed some tears while testifying of the book of mormon, ill admit... during these times, i just start to talk and i dont remember what i say after, but i know that it only happened through the holy ghost and i know that the gift of tongues is super real.

in my studies this week i recently
read mosiah 4 and 5 and alma 32. go and read these chapters. they are
amazing and have become some of my new favorite chapters.
it is crazy how fast these 2 weeks have passed. i feel like ive been truly lost in the work this week, it feels like i was writing you guys yesterday ha. its so awesome when we have good successful lessons and when we have investigators that are progressing so quickly. time flies when youre having fun in the work of the lord ha. alright ill make sure to answer your questions this time mom!
What was it like to say goodbye to Elder Garcia? Did you shed a little tear?
no tears were shed ha, but it was tough to say bye. we had a long bro hug and now we are working hard with our new comps
How did you get to your new area?
we get everywhere by bus or sometimes in taxis depending on how close the other sector is
Tell us three interesting things about Elder Ralda.
he is 24 years, he has 3 weeks left on his mission, and he has been working in the mission office for the last 18 months of his mission!
Tell us a couple interesting things about your new area, San Vicente
It's super super relaxed and laid back. really small. it has one little part of town with all the shops and stores and banks and stuff, but the rest is little tiny neighborhoods and fields. part of our sector is all fields and farm land and its super poor, but awesome. we don't get to work out there much because it takes like 45 minutes just to walk there, but ill send some pictures next time we go to the fields
Can you print from the computer you read our emails from?
ya i can but its expensive
Can you listen to music? What kind?
we can listen to any music with the church name or logo on it
Do you have ward (branch) mission leaders that work with you in your new area?
we have a branch of 60ish people and yes our mission leader works with us a lot more than in sn fernando. his name is jose orellana and he is about 65 yrs old. he always offers to help us with lessons or with whatever else we need, super nice and cool
Do you have access to the latest conference talks so you can review them?
ya i printed some of my favorites, and we can go to lds.org to view the others if we have time
Did you get a chance to wear your sweet trench coat from Bro. Parkinson yet?
ha i wore it for the first week in san fernando, but it hasnt been cold enough to use it. all the elders say to wait until june and you will use it almost everyday....
