"his hands are bigger than Matt's!"

hey family!!

this week went by so fast, it has been a crazy good week though. we invited 3 of our investigators to baptism on sunday the 30th of noviembre  and we are planning on having the baptism right after church ends. aroldo pino is progressing super fast and we have taught him basically all the lessons now. he is always super excited to see us and he is always so excited to read the book of mormon, but he works on sundays and investigators need to attend church 3 times before baptism. he hasn't assisted yet, but were planning on him coming the next 3 weeks in a row in order to be ready for the 30th. erica clavijo is our other investigator we invited to baptism this week. she is about 55 and she lives with her mom because her mom has some medical problems, but she is golden. she is super nice and is always happy to see us and always wants to learn more. we taught her the word of wisdom, gospel of Christ, and the restoration and she said she is going to try her hardest to be ready for the 30th too!! she has such strong desires, she just needs to quit smoking first. she smokes about 25 a day, but as of yesterday she said she only smokes 5ish because she is working to be ready for baptism. she is super awesome and will be such a strong member here in san vicente if she gets baptized, and im almost positive she will.

the conference with elder craig c christensen yesterday was so amazing. he is huge. 6 4ish, like 275lbs, and his hands are bigger than matts! ha. he is an awesome speaker, and he spoke all in spanish which was super cool too. he served his mission in santiago and his talk was all about the purpose of missions and how it changed with the introduction of preach my gospel and the work of salvation. our job as missionaries is to find, teach, baptize, reactivate, and help others endure. he focused a lot on the reactivation because the members and recent converts here struggle with staying active, so elder ralda and i are going to start working with the menos activos and the members to get them coming to church every sunday, and to regain a strong solid testimony.

oh i got your package and all the letters!! the package and everything got to the mission office on the 14th of octubre, but i didn't get it till saturday, because we haven't been to rancagua, but i got everrything, and it was the coolest party in a box i have ever had. thanks everyone i love you all!!! it was the best birthday in chile i've ever had!!!!

that about sums up my week, so i love you guys so much and want to thank you for everything you do for me!! thanks for the love and support guys, le amo!!!!
