that's so crazy that braxton is gone. im
so stoked for him to finaly be out in the mission, hes gonna love it.
sounds like a crazy week with the dump truck story and the cops and
firefighter team ha. good luck with the christmas decorating mom! i know
you'll do a great job. love you.
this week was
ok, we didnt get to work in the sector much because elder munoz had to
go to santiago to get his chilean i.d., so i went to buin, the
northernmost part in the mission and got to ride bikes all day with an
elder from guatemala named arriola. hes a short litle crazy gutemalan
that is super cool and funny. we ended up riding something like 20 miles
on the bikes, and my butt was so sore after that day. it hurt just to
lay down and sleep for like 2 days after haha. buin is a huge sector so
we were riding basically all day and had a few lessons and met the
branch president there.
we got back to san
vicho on thursday night, had a normal day on friday and on saturday, one
of the married couples in the mission, elder and sister johnson came to
look at our house and inspect it to see if it was all clean from bugs
and to see what supplies we needed. they told us that we needed to take a
whole day and just clean the house, so we cleansed all morning, went
and did a service project for the hermanas in our sector (we cut their
grass and bushes, picked up all the trash and hauled it out for the
trash men to pick it up, i felt like i was back on the lobo team that
day haha). we went back home, deep cleaned everything and then went to a
baptism for a member that turned 8. his older brother baptized him, and
it made me think of when i was able to baptize adam. i felt the spirit
extra strong as i thought about getting to baptize adam and how amazing
that experience was. love you adam!
today we
woke up and cleaned all morning and then went to a zone activity in my
old sector in san fernando. we all hung out, ate choripan and grilled
chicken and smores and played futbol.
