familia y amigos!
so
this week we had a few upsets and some things didn't go the we we had
hoped or planned. the baptism ended up falling through on the wednesday
before. maribel unfortunately didn't pass the baptismal interview because
she is having some problems with the word of wisdom.... we are working
with her to get over this little bump in the road, but i know that
everything happens for a reason and heavenly father is aware of all that
is happening in this situation. we moved her baptismal date back to the
7th of march along with juan and janet orellana who are still waiting
for the court to respond about the divorce and marriage. elder hwang and
i went to the court building with janet on friday to finally sign the
divorce papers after 2 years of waiting, but nothing happened again, and
all we can do is wait and fast and pray that things will work out. i
know that one day they all will.
we got
the news for changes on saturday and turns out that i'm staying here in
conti but elder hwang is going to buin, the farthest northern point in
the mission. i have the opportunity to serve as district leader and ill be
training a greeny! not sure if hes gringo or latino, but tomorrow at 9
ill go meet him in rancagua. im super excited to be able to serve and
work in this calling, and i'm even more excited to be able to train a
newbie. its gonna be awesome.

share a tender mercy that happened this week.
well after all that had happened with the baptism and the court date falling through, we stopped and prayed to find someone to teach in the middle of the day, and the next door we knocked on, we found this man named peter. he immediately let us in and we started talking about religion. he told us that he had been looking for a church or looking for god to help him and that he has wanted to rekindle his spiritual flame and i know it wasn't coincidence that we found him. we are going to put a baptismal date for the 14th of march and if he can come to church for the three weeks, he will definitley get baptized.
Do you have a favorite family in your ward?
there are 3 or 4 that are awesome, familia albornoz, familia ortega, familia morales, and a few others
what's the best treat you've had lately?
i got to have some american waffles and nutella when we went to talca for divisions
Do people have pets ie. cats, dogs, fishes, horses, bearded dragons? everyone has like 5 cats and 5 dogs and when we go to the farms and the fields they have rabbits and horses and cows and pigs and everything
If I could come to your apartment make you a meal tomorrow what you want?

How are your workouts going?
we have some weights in the house here, its goin good
Do any of the missionaries get bikes or cars?
the 8 elders that work in the mission office have cars and 5 or 6 of the sectors have bikes, but the rest is all walking

i
learned this week that even though things don't go as we plan all the
time, God knows better and he is guiding everything. all we have to do
is trust in him. d &c 6:36 doubt not. fear not.
