hey everyone,
this week we have been
working a lot on our investigator luis. he didn't make it to church
yesterday because he had to go to the doctor, but he said hes coming
next week for sure, and then he will be able to get baptized on the
saturday after general conference.
elder higginbotham and i were playing futbol on wednesday at the church like we always do, and out of no where this menos activo named daniel osorio from santiago walked up to us and told us that he needed our help to come back to the church asap. we ended up going to visit him on sunday after he came to church, and he is legit. he used to smoke and drink and party with the wicked ladies of santiago, but then one night he realized that his life was terrible and that he was never happy. so he remembered back to his baptism 30 years ago and decided to randomly move to conti this week. i know it wasnt coincidence that he decided to move here into our sector though. as elders we always pray to find people that need the gospel and he was the answer to our prayers this week. we got him an interview with bishop before curch on sunday morrning, introduced him to all the members, made a short and long term plan with him to get worthy, reactivaded, get a calling, and go to the temple and get sealed. he is so awesome and wants to change so much, its really incredible how the lord answers prayers.
maribel was finally able to come to church for the first time in 4 weeks, but im not sure if shell be able to get baptized any time soon. it will happen eventually, but all on the lords time. juan and janet still havent progressed with their divorce problems, but they keep coming to church and are doing great.

week i have been reading in 2 nefi and jacob for the libro de mormon
studies and i love the last parts of 2 nefi about the doctrine of cristo
and our purpose as members of this church whether we are full time
missionaries or not. i hope all of you can read the last few chapters of
2 nefi and truly apply it into your lives.
in
a week here in the mission, we have p day monday where we buy food and
clean the house until 6 30 and then we go out and teach til 10 30.
tuesday we wake up and do studies from 9 to 12 30 and then go to lunch
with a member and then go work from 3 30 to 10 30. wednesdays we go to
the stake center 2 hours on bus up north to talca and i get to teach my
district class. we come back and go to the church to teach ingles
classes, and play basketball and futbol with the members and
investigators and whoever else wants to come play. thursday to saturday
is the same as tuesday, and then we go to church at 10 on sunday go to
lunch at 1 30, go plan from 3 30 to 5 30 and then go out and teach from 5
30 to 10 30 and then repeat it all on monday. life in the mission.

mormon and look for ways to serve someone this week!
