these
weeks have passed by so fast. sorry for not writing much, but its been a
lot of work and not too much time for anything else really. we are
staying busy and having lots of success as a companionship and as a
whole zone. we have seen a lot of miracles in these past two weeks with
new investigators, people accepting baptismal dates and recieving lots
of help from the lord in all as usual.
our
investigators are progressing well. hector has been to church 9 times
now and yesterday he decided to stay for all 3 hours. good work hector.
another investigator i taught a year ago named danilo is pregressing for
real now and is going to get baptized the 28th of november. we have 4
more investigators with baptismal dates for the 14th of november and
things are slowly coming together for them as well. we have changes this
coming tuesday, so ill let you know if im staying or going next monday.
im pretty sure im leaving though since ive been in this zone for almost
10 months now.

Do
your feet hurt all the time from all the walking?
they did at first but after so much time, one gets used to the walking and the feeling eventually leaves your feet
How are your two suits holding up? Do you wear a suit every day? my gray one is getting old and the color in my pants faded a little but its all good, we only wear suits to special meetings and to church on sundays.
Tell us about the last service project you got to do.
we went to the middle of nowhere and me and 3other elders from the house plowed an acre field by hand, planted corn, and then covered the seeds. it was pretty awesome and we all felt like straight chilean farmers.
What has your favorite p day activity been so far?
we went to go play soccer on a turf field in the pouring rain. it was just elders and we played for almost 2 hours straight. good times.
When was the last time you changed your sheets?
its been a while....
What one material thing do you miss from the US?
american football
How is the family from Venezuela progressing and what are their names?
they arent progressing very well anymore. there were a lot of excuses about attending church and we couldnt teach them very often.
What about the lady from the Dominican republic?
maria elena doesnt really answer the door and she has to work every sunday so she cant come to church until she has a job change or stops working
What do you love most about Elder Silvera?
he is chill and relaxed all the time and he has a gift of getting to the hearts of anyone he talks to. he understands the gospel and knows how to apply it.

what was your birthday like from start to finish? we want all details we woke up, drank a good birthday mate, the other elders made brownies and we all ate brownies after lunch together and then we went to work and i got to focus on other people all day and honestly forgot it was my bday. an elder in the zone bought me a funny cunucks hat, the hat that happy gilmore wears in the movie. its more of an inside joke, but it was a good normal day.
did you save your birthday package for your actual birthday or did you cheat?
i cheated sorry.i got the box on like the 20th of september...i couldnt wait a whole month but i loved everything in it and it was by far the best package ever
do you have any requests for your christmas package?
always socks, ties, white shirts, american cereal
what scripture are you "ponderizing" this week?

have you seen Hector at all over the past two weeks?

we all brought food from our own country and played dodgeball and hung out and ate a bunch

buin (north, close to santiago) or out in the country somewhere, i dont like the city anymore
