"cold showers and lots of rain"

hola todos!!

new sector, freezing winter weather, cold showers and lots and lots of rain. what a week! i arrived in my new sector, san francisco b in the tupahue 2 zone and it has been raining since day one basically. all this weekend it poured on us as we contacted and tried to find new people.

my comp and his comp before me didnt have too much success here in san francisco last change, and they ended up leaving a lot of investigators that weren't progressing. we have been going through the rest of the old investigators in the sector and there arent many that are progressing. san francisco is a little country town and the people are very uneducated but its a great little town and branch.

yesterday we showed up at the church to get the sacrament ready and prepare for sacrament meeting. at about 10 when church was starting, only us 4 missionaries, the branch president and his two counselors and 4 other members were there to take the sacrament. since there was nobody to speak or bless or pass the sacrament or teach the classes, elder salas spoke, i blessed the sacrament and taught the elders quorum class, my comp elder benavente taught the gospel principles class and the new elder that got here last week, elder davis played piano. pretty interesting sunday but i loved it. its always fun to be in super small branches in super small towns. you never know when you might have to give a talk or teach a class or even direct sacrament meeting ha.

its been really really cold this week, and they say winter hasn't even started yet....yay. i dont have any pictures of this week but these are my last pictures in calle larga with elder marshall and saying by to cata and jose and their fam! ill take som pictures of san francisco and us in the sector this week for sure. love you guys, glad you had a good time in vegas mom! talk to you next week!

love,

elder pacheco
