"i feel completely at home"

hello everyone!

hey sorry i didn't have time to write yesterday, we were at a ward activity pretty much all day and no one had internet at the campground so i'm writing today. this week was another good one, with everyone progressing good, and getting ready for the 21st of this month! super stoked for this month. nothing crazy happened this week, but we had a really fun day yesterday at the ward day campout. we left at about 7 in the morning on this old train ride with an hermano named marcelo albornoz, the elders quorum president, and then went on an hour hike after the train ride to get to the campsite where we played nonstop futbol, ate all kinds of super good food, and hung out with our investigators and bishop and all the member in the ward.

questions:
how often do you fast?
every fast sunday like normal, and elder hwang and i have been fasting almost every week for juan and maribel this past month so that they can be ready for baptism

does any part of your ward remind you of Remington heights ward?
well its a lot smaller and all in spanish, but i feel completely at home and like i am back in the old ward.

will you send us pictures of your new casa? next week

do you share your apartment with other missionaries or is it just the two of you?
we live in this tiny appartment with two others, elder peralta from mexico city, and elder patiƱo from colombia

did you have super bowl party with your investigators?
ha. i didn't even know the superbowl was this week,....

what's the most interesting thing you saw or heard this week?
lots of drunk people walking around trying to talk to us and give us hugs
how tall are you now?
still 6 foot even

have you eaten anything new?
lots of fried fish that i hate now
what has been the most important thing you've learned in this first quarter of your mission?
that's tough but i think it would have to be to always stay happy, motivated, and ready and worthy to be lead by the spirit. i read a talk from a general authority about being a challenging and testifying missionary and always having and listening to the spirit and that's what i've been trying to do.

juan and janet have been together for 4 years now and investigating for 2 years, but they are progressing good and we are going to see today what day they can get married. maribel is still doing great too.

alright fam, thats all for this week. thanks for everything, i love you guys so much. porten se bien. talk to you next week!!! amor y besos

love
