"i'll admit i got way trunky after the call"

the best part of this entire week and month was yesterday night when i got to see the whole family for mothers day! that hour long call made my week and made me so happy.

happy mothers day one more time to all the amazing moms and grandmas that i know and that have helped me so much in my life, especially my own mom <3

the days before the skype call passed pretty slow ill be honest, i was thinking about what i would say to the fam and ill admit i got way trunky after the call ha. its impossible not to.  for lunch before the call, the second counselor in the branch gave us a big asado (chilean bbq) with tons of pork chops and bratwurst hotdogs, so freaking good! here are a few pics.

the rest of the week before sunday was pretty tough but that doesnt mean it was a bad week. we didnt have any investigators in church this week and our 3 fechas fell, but the other two fechas we had that now live in another city went to church in their city called graneros and the missionaries from graneros tell us that they are going to get baptized for sure!

we found this family contacting one day, familia maneses and they are so cool. the mom, veronica, the son, bryon, and a younger son danilo live together and yaritza, another daughter and the husband of yaritza, camilo always come to visit veronica. when we found them and when we invited them to get baptized they were all in veronicas house together. we didnt realize until after that yaritza and camilo were from graneros, but they still accepted the baptismal invitation and they went to church in graneros after all!!! thats our little miracle this week even though its not even in our own sector ha.

ive realized that the lord works in mysterious ways and even though i would love for the whole familia maneses to get baptized here in san francisco, the lord knows why yaritza and camilo need to get baptized in graneros.

i loved to get to see the fam yesterday, i love you all so much. i cant wait to see all your faces in person and i cant wait to get to know all my cousins and my aunt that i dont know yet ha. hope you all had a good week and a good mothers day!
